As an additional appointment in the continuing saga that is the Tin Foil Hat Show, it would seem that episode 003 has been dropped in the feed. Please find the link to the feed on the right of the blog or here.
The podcast is also available to play directly online at the Fuzion Podcast Network.
For the instructions to get the show notes please see the instructions as posted in the post for the first episode. These instructions shouldn't change.
Feedback as always is welcome, tinfoilhatshow@gmail.com or you can contact me by any of the other methods listed here on this blog. Please remember that the show is very new and still settling in, but constructive criticisms are always appreciated.
Enjoy and please do send me feedback and corrections, it can only make the show better. A permanent link to the show's rss feed is listed on the right side of the blog.

Although the EFF HTTPS-Everywhere plugin works well I have found an alternative way for getting the same security.
If you are already running the NoScript plugin (and you should be) , then slide over to Options , Advanced , HTTPS and add the sites you want secured to the 'Force the following sites....' section.
You will need to make sure these sites are running HTTPS servers beforehand.
So far I have added :-
*.facebook.com
twitter.com
mail.google.com
news.google.com
*.ping.fm
ping.fm
*.diigo.com
*.wordpress.com
blekko.com
www.instapaper.com
identi.ca
nzbs.org
www.nzbs.org
bit.ly
I have also exported my settings to a shared Dropbox folder and imported on other workstations. easy.
NoScript is available at :-
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722/
Regarding URL shorteners. Yes they are almost a form of Russian Roulette, but you can stack the odds.
For example:
http://tinyurl.com/ltf8am could be going anywhere (it goes to Xoke.org actually but you don't know that).
http://preview.tinyurl.com/ltf8am which is the same letters at the end will take you to a preview page and tell you where you are going.
Also, tinyurl have a page that lets you set a cookie (yeah, I know) to ALWAYS preview. You can find it from their home page under 'Preview Feature - Cool!' on the menu on the left. Or you can manually copy the URL and put preview in front.
I believe there are addons that do this for you but I haven't really played around with them so can't really suggest any that way (maybe a future ep you can do?)
